A Piece of Me in... January 2010

This will be short, because I'm not feeling too hot and I am deeply immersed in a book that I want to get back to reading. Isn't it weird how quickly the month of december went?

This month....
I like: that I have almost half the month off from school, and then I start what will hopefully be a fun semester.

I don't like: that it's going to be SO freaking COLD!! and that I am going to have to walk around in it on a daily basis.

I want you to know: that I'm ready to move on. Not from this blog, but a lot of other things.

I've planned: to finish my grad school apps, get better from this weird illness i have, and get my life back on track.

I want to say to someone special: Whoever you are, I can't wait to meet you, because I'm bored.

A Piece of Me in December 2009

This month....

I like: that in less than two weeks I will be home for the holidays and will FINALLY get a break from all of this homework!

I don't like: that November just flew by. I am excited for Christmas and December and the Holidays and all, but I hate when time goes by and I don't know where it went. I feel like life is too short to let that happen, and I let it happen.

I want you to know: that I am hardly posting any blogs lately because I have about a million pages of final papers to write within the next couple weeks, and I have exams. ughh. then I'll be done for a while and you'll be hearing more from me. Right now I can't even begin to take time to think about a good blog post. Luckily this one was all planned out for me and I only have to fill in the blanks!

I've planned: to stop eating cheese, but I'm sure that won't last very long. I've also planned to go back to my original plan of avoiding mixed drinks. I'm not even hung over today, but I have an awful stomachache from the all the juice and sugar that goes into the punch I was drinking last night. It's really slowing me down.

I want to say to someone special: Best friend, I can't believe you're turning 21 on Tuesday. Where did the time go? I don't know how I would have survived without you!

A piece of me in... November 2009

I have decided to join in on this idea from Toothfairy on her blog Notes From the Toothfairy

This game is to share a piece of you, every month. That way, you and your readers can see what's happening in your life, including the changes. I.E. one month, you might love chocolate, a few months later you've might come to hate it. It's also to remind ourselves of people you love and the plans you have.

Let's start!

This month....
I like: that Halloween just happened and I am really actually looking forward to a little snow, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I already watched Elf this morning! I figure the cold weather is going to happen no matter what, so I might as well embrace it. And the holidays can be stressful but I am going to try my best to focus on the great parts of them.

I don't like: how little time I am going to spend with my family and friends from home this month. I won't be back until around Thanksgiving and I wish I could be with them more.

I want you to know: I really love when you guys read my blog, and I love it even more when you comment. It really cheers me up :) I know I go days at a time without posting when things get really crazy with school, but I try to post as much as I can!

I've planned: to not be so hard on myself this month. Nobody is perfect and sometimes I forget that I will never get there. I think the best I can do is accept that I make mistakes, I say things that I later regret, and sometimes I forget to do things that I should have. I just need to get better at accepting that sometimes, quite often actually, I do mess up, but that it's normal to do so. I really am my own worst critic.

I want to say to someone special: Jess, I really miss you and enjoyed your text messages last night! I can't wait until next year when I will be close to home, or actually at home, and we can see each other much more.

Join the bandwagon, and start playing!

We play the game on the first sunday of the month.

Feel free to join anytime, but remember to keep posting every first sunday of the month after the first time!
